Pray from your heart, something like this."Father, I wish to turn my life over to you. Please forgive me for my sins, I ask Jesus to come into my heart, AMEN".
I would define Christless Christianity as a religion that does not have the true Jesus as it's focal point or gives Jesus a backseat to church traditions or does not even believe in Jesus, false or otherwise. Many of these churches have the word Christian in their church name. Some even have the word Jesus, but categorize him as something or somebody far less than who the Bible says he is. I believe that another symptom of Christless Christianity is a church that teaches you must work your way to heaven. However, when the question was asked, "What must we do to do the works God requires?" Jesus answered, "The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent". John 6:28 & 29 NIV. You see Jesus not only claimed to be the Son of God, but claimed to be God. John 5:15 to 18. This is why we can't claim to be a son of God until we have accepted Jesus as our Savior (John 1:12) and then we are adopted son's of God. This idea that we are all son's of God would tend to take away from the fact that Jesus is the only true Son of God. We would be putting ourselves on the same level as Jesus.
If you believe the claims that Jesus made for himself, how could you not make him the focal point of your Christianity. Yet many churches continue to make Jesus less than what he really is. It is he that we all must come to for salvation, for forgiveness, and to reach the Father. Read these scripture verses about Jesus and what some that walked with him had to say and what he had to say about himself. Remember your Christianity should not be a religion, but a relationship with the one who redeemed us, Jesus.
